Austria was transported to Wesley Methodist School KL when we held our Annual Concert on the 22 and 23 July 2011 in the school hall. This year's production was 'The Sound Of Music'. The production was based on the 1965 American hit musical film by Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Five hundred and forty students participated on the stage and behind the scenes to make the WMS KL production a fantastic one. Parents and guests who packed the hall on both nights were enthralled with the captivating performance by cast, the music and songs by the ensemble and choir and not forgetting the superbly choreographed dances, dazzling costumes and the skilfully crafted props and sets.

Positive comments were heard from the audience. Many said that the well loved songs brought back fond memories of their childhood days whenthey watched the movie 'The Sound of Music'. One parents was astounded by the tremendous energy on the stage.

Maria was played by School Captain Samantha Ng Yen Li and the dashing Captain Vonn Trapp was played by Chai Jia En.
