Principal
The principal of Wesley Methodist School has been involved in the education system for the last 36 years, serving in various capacities. At the time of retirement from goverment service, she was the Principal of SMK Bukit Nanas, having held that post for 10 years.
Vimala Mathews was an outstanding student right from primary school all the way to her campus days at University Malaya. She excelled in extra-curicular activities and represented the university in hockey at internation level.
She presently is extremely active in voluntary services and sits on the board of several organizations. For all her selfless services, she was awarded the AMN by DYMN Yang Dipertuan Agung in 1996.
Vimala Mathews is married to Philip Mathews, the Asst Director General of ISIS and they have been blessed with 3 children.
